Swiss
and Italian, with a MSc.Eng. from the Swiss Federal Polytechnical Institute in
Lausanne, a MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau and additional studies at NYU, New
York.
After a first professional experience in the IT industry, he joins the ICRC (International
Committee of the Red Cross) as one of its Chief Delegates for the Middle-East
and Africa.
Following his studies at INSEAD, he joins Sandoz Phar maceuticals (Novartis) in
1971 as a marketing executive with a world-wide activity. In 1976, in line with
his marketing activities, he edits a series of books on Health Economics, then
an entirely new field in continental Europe.
In 1978, he chooses the Executive Search profession as Vice-President in charge
of Southern Europe for a US search firm. In 1984, he joins Carré Orban in Geneva
as Managing Partner for Switzerland that he successfully expands with offices
in Zurich and Geneva. In 1991, he launches the Leaders-Trust International Swiss
office.
