Arancha holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Madrid's Universidad Complutense and an MBA from Mercer University (Atlanta, Georgia). She counts with a 13 year professional experience developed at BBVA, one of Europe's preeminent financial institutions.

Within BBVA's well-regarded Wholesale & Asset Management Division, Arancha first produced consistently excellent results in equity sales between 1999 and 2007.
During this period she established and then built the Bank's institutional equity sales efforts in Scandinavia. In 2002 she was made VP and leader of this business unit of Cash Equity Sales.
During this period of time, she was very active in marketing IPOs and Road Shows for Spanish and Latin American Companies in Scandinavia and UK.

Between early 2007 and Dec. 2010, she served as Executive Director in charge of Global Organization Projects, with a mandate to develop strategic growth efforts for BBVA's Global Markets Unit. During this time Arancha managed the recruitment of over 450 professionals in several European countries as well as in the US and Hong Kong - as well as assured proper technology and training support for dozens of Treasury programs and projects.

She speaks Spanish as it is her native language, and she also speaks English.
